Thanks Will but I have checked that option first to no avail. It seems as if the control panel gets corrupted as it does not show all the options that it should. Using a extra drive I reloaded the OS (8.6) and still something damage the control panel ?? Pulled all the drives but one known tested good unit, from a 2nd working C600 and yet when opened the control panel it shows corrupted, yet when returned to the 2nd working C600 all works just fine ? I am starting to think that maybe the sound circuit on the motherboard has gone bad ?
Maybe one of our resident experts could shead some light as to how / were the sound does its start up check or advise how to test ?
