Well, I don't believe it.  Took the zip drive I was trying to use on my
VST/ATA 66 card and hooked it up to a peecee.  Did this just to make sure it
was a working drive.  Hence, worked fine.  Brought it home and put it back
into the s900 and WALA! -sp-  It's mounting zips just like normal now,
cross-reading from the other scsi zip drive too.

I guess I don't have an explanation as to why it is working now except to
think that somehow it just needed to operate normally, maybe reset/flashed
the firmware or something?

So it's confirmed, Atapi Zip Drives do work on ide cards in older Macs.
