Good day, all...

I have a C500 that has occasionally exhibited problems after being
power-cycled or moved (basically, when the power cord has been
disconnected). It switches on, but will not chime or start up.
It appears to feed a black screen to the monitor (a picture, but
        an all-black picture).

I can't remember how I fixed it last time. We tried replacing
the internal battery and IDE cable so far to no avail. Does this
ring a bell with any of you?

        Best regards,

        Britain.

        P.S. I apologize if this has been recently answered - I haven't
monitored the list traffic as closely in recent months, and I
couldn't find anything in specific through a search of the
        archive. Thank you.
