Yeah- It's more a matter of making sure that cache is disabled in OS X. I have found that my J700 is not able to push the Mhz as well as my lowly PowerBase with the same Powerlogix G3 card. I had been able to run it at 10x bus for 450, but I only get to 8x on my J700. I do suppose it is the card that won't allow the bus to run past 55 Mhz... That seems to be the limit for this combination. Of course the J700 is a much more capable machine.
