You can do a G4 for about $250 now, but with most applications and our quirky
S900 architecture, you seem to get more problems than it's worth.  Go to
xlr8yourmac.com and check the OWC specials list.  If you click through from
there, you can sometimes get a substantial discount, and it's worth signing up
for the mailing list at OWC.  I've had good luck with them over the years, and
they support macs in all their flavors pretty well.
