Stefan, You will need to have ADB support and mouse support compiled into your kernel. If you opted to install the kernel source, it will be in the directory /usr/src/linux. If you go to this directory and type:
make menuconfig It will bring up a window (assuming you have ncurses installed) that will allow you to set kernel options. Once you have done this, and you think you have done it correctly, something along the lines of: make dep && make vmlinux modules modules_install Should get you a new kernel. Or if you use a compressed kernel, replace vmlinux with bzImage. Jo Bu I have also run across this PCI bridge bug in both my reading and in a kernel message that flew by during boot up. I will keep you posted on my findings. To all those interested in Linux I will put forth this tidbit: root=/dev/sda3 This needs to go into the "More kernel arguments" textbox of bootx after you finish your install. The last part [sda3] is where my root resides, so that part will be specific to your machine. I include this because i couldn't find it documented anywhere.(it was a shot in the dark for me after many reboots and much frustration) So at any rate, hopefully I will have more enlightening information for the rest of the group soon.
