Hello, Listers -

I just set up, as a test, a second e-mail address and password at
Earthlink.
It says we can have up to eight per POP.

The junk mail is increasing and I need to change to another identity -
but while I'm at it I thought I would try multiple addresses. It seems
the Klez virus that harvested my address elsewhere is doing its thing.

Not sure how to send and receive mail through this new address.
(I'm hoping to get around using Earthlink's WebMail feature, which is
sortof cumbersome.)
I use Communicator 4.7.6 and went through various preferences and don't
see provisions for creating another e-mail info. I guess the mail needs
to be retrieved by sending the new info and password.
Could this be done after connecting (dial-up) using my other log-on ?

Do you have to manually select the new info in various control panels to
send and receive ?
Is it possible to manage multiple e-mail addresses on Communicator or
Eudora AFTER the dial-up connection?

So far I've looked at the Remote Access and TCP/IP preferences but no
clue.

Never looked into juggling multiple e-mail addresses.

Thanks for any hints or links to tips.

Alan
