Howdy.

I finally got my RAM for my Umax Supermac C500 (144mb total), partitioned
the drive (I plan on running Yellow Dog Linux) and installed Mac OS 9 into
the MacOS partition. However, after the install and reboot, it doesn't
recognize the CD-ROM drive.

I've heard lots of talk on this list about the non-Apple CD-ROM drives in
the C500s, and about drivers. Think that is the problem? The system boots
from a CD fine - just once OS 9 loads, it's as if the CD-ROM drive doesn't
exist.

If that is the problem, where can I get this driver?

Thanks,
Tim.
