I hope some one can offer some insight on this situation. I was running my system off of a 4.3 Gb drive using OS9.1. All things were fine.
It's on the O bus id 1. My other drive is same bus id 4. Anyway after file transferring some things from an imac to my s900, something happened to disk and the system folder. The machine froze and on restart booted into my secondary drive telling me my regular hd was not readable and needed to be intialized. I didn't do this but used diskwarrior to find and rebuild the directory. My regular drive showed up on the desktop, but now it will not boot from the system folder that is no that drive. I used intech hard drive tools to update the driver to see if that would help...but no go. I used apples disk first aid...still no luck. So here I have a working harddrive but the system folder is not being activated at start up and I default boot into the secondary drive. The regular drive is active in the start up panel, which makes it further confusing. Suggestions? Ideas? thanks tim -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
