Hi all I just dragged my wife's old Personal Laser Writer LS out of the closet and hooked it up. I used the install floppies that came with the printer, all four of them, to install the software for it. The readmes mention that it is system 7 aware, but that's still pretty old. The docs don't mention PPC processors at all.
Anyway, the computer finds it and prints to it however the print comes out all garbled, its just a bunch of widely spaced, random letters. Is there some conflict between the fonts and extensions installed by the printer software and what comes with 8.6? Or is my printer just going insane? The latter is possible, the unit is 10 years old and has printed many thousands of pages. It is a great old printer but certainly doesn't owe us anything anymore :-/ Thanks for any help.
