Select control panels from the Apple menu and find the energy control panel that controls the start up time in schedule. The Mac is set to wake up at a certain time. But besides that, the system sounds like it needs a little help. Try zapping the pram (option, apple and p, r keys at restart for 2-5 chimes), rebuild the desktop (option, apple) keys at startup till you see the dialog box, select yes. Try Apples First Aid and if you're still stuck, open the system prefs and trash the finder prefs, Mac os prefs and system prefs. Then restart.
