have you seen what it does just before a restart?  it could be a power
supply problem, or a grounding problem or problem with the circuit
board/controller with the power switch, or it could be the silly energy
saver panel.  it's hard to say without more data, knowing what happens
just before the random restart would be very helpful, but i know these
things usually happen as soon as you stop watching.
