Specifically, I'd like to develop a catalogue list (that can be saved to disk or printed) of what is on each of my cd's. There's a few programs out there, but I figure a few of you have already weeded out what works best. Be nice if it could show the info in both Folder Hierarchy and Alphabetical structure when wanted.
Of course, Thanks Much! Dave Dave, Take a look here: <http://www.iview-multimedia.com/> It's what I chose a couple of years ago as the best of the lot for my purposes, primarily large & small thumbnails of flat Photoshop files for clickable image maps. It was shareware then and has since gone fully commercial, with good reviews. I find VirtualDisk indispensible for everyday use. It is, or was years ago, available as part of LaCie's disk utility package. It catalogs by automatically putting file and removable volume aliases into a virtual volume that is searchable in Finder. I have 500+ CDRs cataloged and finding a file is trivial. --Bruce -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
