Well...I also have/had ata stuff mixed with scsi. After much difficulty with it (finding the right slot combo for video etc-not booting from it when other sys folders are available etc...) I have decided to not keep it in. As far as my experience with it goes on my s900, I would say just anty up the dollars for a bigger scsi drive and leave the ata out.
