Used the latest Radeon drivers it seemed to work well...but, (always a but) Deus Ex started up to a black screen where it used to switch resolutions and show edios floating logo.(cannot go two days without Deus Ex!)
Changed resolutions ..no help tossed the Deus Ex prefs ...no help I removed the ATI ROM extender extention (why ? Idunno heard that extention blamed for something elsewhere)...IT WORKED! Haven't see any artifacts... but (again) now the machine boots to a squigilly-rolling screen until the march of the icons though.I'll figure that out. Thanks for the input Steve.
