The drives mentioned on DealMac are the SCA drives with an 80 pin to
50 pin adapter. They also have (or had last weekend) true 68 pin
drives either at the same price or for about $10 more. They have
four versions of the 68 pin drive listed which all appear identical
except the last few digits of the models number. e.g. 18300-0028,
18300-0038, 18300-0048. If you check Western Digital's
documentation you'll find that the -0038 (IIRC) version has the
larger on-board cache. I think you must look under legacy support or
some such on WD's site.

They (WD) stopped making SCSI drives a while back, though they're
still sort of supporting their warranty. I had an 18 GB and a 9 GB
drive fail. They replaced the 18 GB with a slightly different
revision of the same model and I got a better drive with a larger
cache out of the deal. But they didn't have any of the 9 GB drives,
so they offered me either ~$70 or a 20 GB IDE drive. They IDE drive
was newer and probably faster and I've got IDE cards, so I took that
option.
