Have you installed the MaxPower software? Enabled the L2 cache? If so and Gauge Pro says it's a 250, then it's a 250. The other list thread deals with the default slow settings read by the computer without the L2 cache active. (activating the L2 requires the software) I'm assuming that your upgrade card is a G3 and not one of Newer's 604e/250 upgrades.
