What are you using to play the MP3s? I just got an S900 too (250Mhz 604e in
mine), mine's running 9.1, and iTunes 2.0.4 (Free download from Apple) and
plays the few MP3 files I've thrown at it just fine. It also plays
streaming MP3s fine.
