USB2 is NOT supported in < OS X. It will run in USB 1.1 mode. je

I installed a separate Firewire card in the lower slots that works fine, and Jeff Walther's caution about the lower slots needing a separate USB card echoes in my ear. There are a growing number of components for USB 2 but before filling an empty slot with one, I wonder if it's worth the trouble and what I have to do to make sure USB 2 can work in my machine.
