I've seen reports that USB 2.0 cards are all seen as USB 1 or is it 1.1 
when installed in any Mac new or old. So while they do work you don't 
get the faster bandwidth in a Mac currently. I don't have any 
experience with USB 2.0 cards myself. I thought this could be of 
interest and no one else had mentioned it. Will S
