I have a SuperMac S900i about 6-7 yrs old now. I have a multitude of occurences. Starting up requires several restarts before the desk top appears. Mouse freezes are the rule rather than the exception. My second HD starts up when starting cold but gives out after 6hrs or so. I have stripped the HD of everything but what I need to operate.
I have a G3 processor. The HD is larger than the original-there is a second HD for storage-a new 250 Zip, Plexwriter and I haven't even hooked up my scanner and VCR yet. The powersupply is 250 watts. I has been suggested to me that with all the new stuff it may not be enough. If this is so What kind of supply should I be looking at and where do you find them? Are they easy to change?
