Linux/ UN*X both install pretty well on the S900/Pulsar machines. 
However, if it has the original IMS (a.k.a. IXMicro) TwinTurbo video 
card, get a new card. I was able to only get MKLinux to run XWindows 
with that thing in it. When Linux PPC was around, it was supposed to 
support the TwinTurbo, but I could never even get the installer CD to 
boot. Yellow Dog Linux installed like charm, although I did have to 
diable the video drivers for the TwinTurbo. That damn card seemed to be 
one item that gave me trouble. Then again, if I had been able to use it 
properly, I wouldn't be on OS 10.2 now......maybe I should be thankful 
:)
