Beware of stating your option rather then facts because if your wrong 
we will let you know  ;-) Happens to me from time to time...;-)
OS 9.1 runs fine on all the Umax clones with no hacks needed. Your 
configuration may require some changes or adjustment but it will run on 
your machine!
OSX 10.0- 10.1.5 runs fine with the 604 cpu or a G3/4 upgrade. Jaguar 
10.2 requires a G3/4 upgrade . It may be possible to run with a 04 in 
the future. XPostFacto software is needed. The C500/600 can not run OSX 
now but that too may change in the future. I know at least one Power 
Computing machine based on the Apple 6400 motherboard is running 
OSX(the C500/600 is based on this motherboard) Later Will S
