I guess I should have been more specific. I meant without any upgrade . . .I bought an XLR8 card that didn't work, fortunately got my money back. I finally acquired a slot G3, which I am "moving into" gradually. Haven't installed OSX yet . . .the J700 is a very solid machine, I'm not abandoning it. Just trying to figure what to do to the G3 . . .it's still running 9.04..
