Hi all

I am looking at getting a PCI based DVD hardware decoder card for the
Mac. It is a PCI card, with the CMI 800 chipset I believe. I am
wondering if the 'PC DVD card enabler' that comes with OS 8.6 would
recognize this card, and from there, what software would I need to then
playback DVDs? Of course, this assumes that I have a DVD drive for the
machine ;-)

I'd rather use the Mac for DVDs than buy a player if that is possible.
I have a spare 8500 thats not doing anything, it could easily become the
DVD box with a hardware DVD decoder.

Thanks

Bolton
