I think it may have been a common practice at one time. I don't remember which Macs do and don't , but I know the early compact Macs had a similar "feature." Steve Hardy To which I expand: Some do and some don't. My 150Mhz S900D does not have the molded signatures on the door. My 200 Mhz S900L does.
