Well this is a late post in the thread but I might as well get in my 2�
since all else is running smooth.   I for one see no reason to get rid of my
s900.  It does everything I need.  It's fast and I can make it faster.
Besides, I just bought it at the start of the year.  I'm still having too
much fun.  Heck, I'm still experiencing the fun of having the front door
attached after getting one a few months ago.

Ironically, somebody on the Swap list just posted a request for parts for
"an old obsoleted UMAX SuperMac s900 with a..."  Now that's scary, first
time I heard of my machine being "old obsoleted".  Of course, the poster
obviously believes in it enough to want parts.  Nevertheless, I see what its
capable of and except for an occasional quirk, I for one intend to be using
it productively for a few more years.

And maybe when -loaded- "obsoleted" s900's drop below $100, I'll buy a
second unit.
