It depends on the make and model.  The stock Matsushita and Toshiba drives
(we didn't exclusively use Matsushita drives, but they were the majority)
were configured with termination disabled and at ID #3.  In rare cases,
jumpering the "Sector Size" pins on Matushita drives enable booting from an
otherwise non-bootable drive.

There's no absolute jumper settings that will or won't work.  It depends on
the configuration of your total SCSI chain.

If I can ever get the KnowledgeBase update done on the SuperMac Insider
site, there'll be a ton of SCSI configuration and stock settings info
online....
