Hi, I'm trying to get OS 10.15 running on an S 900 with an XLR8 zif carrier G4 400. It runs until I try and install the "XLR8 Speed control" software.
When I install the XLR8 Speed control software I get a screen full of test during startup just as it begins loading the Speed control app. I did a search after shutting everything done and restarting in OS 9.1 on the drive where OS 10.15 is and found all the XLR8 stuff that was installed and trashed it. Then a reboot with Xpost Facto 2.2.4 will bring up OS X but it is slow so I'm guessing that it really needs whatever it is that that XLR8 software does! I have OS 9.1 on an internal 18GB drive and OS 10.15 installed on an external 9Gb. My CD rom works, monitors work (one running off an Apple rom Twin turbo and the other off an ATI nexus 128.) All that stuff is working fine. It's just the speed (or lack of) since I have no control over the on board cache I'm guessing that this has something to do with it.
