OK I found that I'd put on too many security features on my Get Info
preferences. This disallowed a whole raft of attempts, so when I
finally found the culprit and re set the priveleges to allow read and
write etc. I had a swift Terminal install.

Now it is there. Only thing is ASP still shows only the Motherboard
Cache despite Cache Control telling me the true size of the Backside L2
Cache's size.

Interesting mission.

I am now hoping I can share files and see them on a network, a two
computer network. From 9.1 I can see all the files in X on the other
machine in Network Browser control Panel. In X I can't see a thing on
the other computer and so not share files.

Is there any info online to assist such novice problems?
