That is where I am at for now. Any suggestions?

Well if you have not already done it a clean
install of the OS and programs might help. As far
as utilities go - Disk warrior, Nortons and
TechTool all have their uses but cost money. Use
the Apple Disk Utility that came in your OS. It
will help with many problems.

You could troll around ebay or the LEM Swap list
(hosted by LowEnd). You may find an older copy
that works with OS 8 or 9. Here's a link to all
their lists and a few more.

For us to give you more info we need to know
What OS are you using?
Do crashes happen in a particular program?
Or a combination or programs open at the same time?

This info will help us find your problems (probably).

Also Acrobat 4 has a lovely download available at
Adobe.com for a tool called WEB CAPTURE. It will
give Acrobat 4 (only full version) the ability to
captur web pages as PDF documents and store them
on your HD. That way you can view them without
being on the web. It os a great tool I have used
often. Particularily when I need a manual that's
online and want to keep it.

As for your programs, I am not familiar with
AppleWorks, Claris and Eudora but the rest of them
are pretty stable. Each with its own quirks - like
PageMaker will not export to PDF-it crashes.

Good luck and post your details more fully and we
will help.
