My post was correct -- in my experience -with a La Cie CDRW OS X 
10.0.3 thru 10.1.5 saw and supported all the USB 2.0 speeds without 
loading any drivers. OS 10.2xxx would not even see the drive but would 
see a USB 1.1 cdrw drive that was connected to the same card. After 
downloading drivers from the Orange Micro web page everything went back 
to normal. OS 9.xxx only sees the devices as USB 1.1 and there were no 
2.0 drivers available at the time.
