Try Apple's CD driver 5.3.1, which supports most SCSI CD drives. You can get
it here:

You can also try the Toast extension.

I think the best place to start searching for a system CD is ebay. Mac OS
9.1 is the latest OS that runs without hacks, so stay away from 9.2 CDs, and
make sure the CD is not machine specific.
Mac OS 7.5 is a free download from Apple's website, however, I'd recommend
8.5 or higher, at least 8.1.

Naa, my S900 is still my main "workstation".
These old machines are nice to upgrade, with a lot of RAM and a faster
processor you can even play around wit OS X.
Or use it as a server, router, typewriter, CD copy station, Internet/game
station for the kids,...
