I recently acquired a S900, which is currently running at 366MHz with a
50MHz bus (XLR8 card) and has 272MB Ram, 3 hard drives, and is running
Jaguar...rather slowly, but running it none the less.
I have read everything I can find on this particular model...including
problems with G4 card upgrades (which until then I was considering) but
cannot find the information I need on one particular area. My motherboard is
the type with 2 processor slots. One is empty. Unless I misunderstand, in
order to take advantage of the S900's Dual Processor, the second one has to
be a UMAX processor.
1. Is this correct?
2. Will it even benefit me to add a 2nd one?
3. If so, where do I get one?
4. If it doesn't have to be UMAX processor, does it have to be the same
speed as the processor in slot 1?

Thanks.
Mike
