Mine came standard with a 1.2GB Quantum drive.

I don't think your Umax will like you using a SCSI drive. FWB IS a good
utility, but you should be able to use the hacked version of Apple's Disk
Setup. Or get Lido 7.56. Free and found thru a Google search.

My C500 is running O.S. 8.6. I like it. Getting the Umax to recognize your
choice of drives requires a good drive formatter.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
See above. I ran mine on the 16MB it came with until I got a couple of 32MB
RAMsticks. No, not internetted. Not 'till I bumped it up to 80MB.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The toshiba needs FWB CD ROM ToolKit, because it's a non-Apple ROMMED drive.
Mine came with a broken Apple 600 drive and I put an Apple 300i drive in it
to make it work. Slow, but useable. And I had one lying around. =^)
