Thanks to help from people who know. I asked for help when my CD would not recognize Norton Disk Doctor. I followed advice from John Hobbs and made a 100 MB Ram disk, took the system folder off the Norton CD along with the Speed Disk app and it ran like a hot darn. Took a looooong time to do the job but my C500 runs better than I remember. Thanks to everyone who offerred suggestions.
