I have an older PowerMac 7200 that I use as my "back-up" machine and am
running OS 9.1 very successfully. I would definitely upgrade from the older
OS! The newer OS is very stable, albeit slow, but that has more to do with
the anemic processor, slow system bus and minimal RAM than anything else. As
far as Netscape is concerned I don't use it as my primary browser as I've
opted to use IE for it's ease of use, etc... personal preference only... I'm
sure Netscape will do just fine by you.
