Currently on my S900/DP200 under OS 8.1 (Just received this machine, installed the OS off the Umax System disk) When I try to place a picture on the desktop using the "Desktop Pictures" Control Panel, nothing happens. The preview pane shows a magenta screen regardless of the picture I select, and the desktop pattern still shows up even when I've selected a picture.
I've had this problem on my other S900 running a newer OS, but I can't remember if it was 8.5/8.6 or 9.1. It disappeared after a while, but I never traced the cause of the problem.
