Just for clarity. All UMAX System Disks included Hard Disk Tool Kit LE
. The WD drive did need it but most of the other drives used didn't. I
think likely all drives did come formated with the FWB Hard disk tool
kit. It was later when people got tired of paying FWB for a new upgrade
for nearly every Mac OS upgrade that someone found that the Apple Drive
setup worked fine with nearly all the drives except for the WD. I was
lucky mine came with a Quantum drive which still runs fine and formats
with Apple Drive setup. Will S
