Hacks like os9helper just copy the compatibility information from the 9.1
system's resource fork to system 9.2. Nothing else gets changed or mixed, so
you get a complete and almost original OS 9.2 which also works as Classic in
OS X.
The other method, "mixing systems", is not that stable and I would not
recommend it, but using the ResEdit method was the best thing I could do for
my S900, 9.2 feels much better than 9.1.
