Today is computer recycle day at my local recycler. Being behind, and
feeling the need to
tidy up, I loaded everything I couldn't revive into my pickup and took it
all there.

Except, that is, my C500 motherboard and power supply. Something made me
hang back and
keep them.

I set up the C500 motherboard, power supply and hard disk on the bench
outside, and hooked
everything together.

Lo and behold, the sucker booted. Now, I can't get it to read the RAM in the
second slot,
for whatever reason, but I'm sending this email on it with the RAM in slot 1
and the on-board
RAM. (total of 48MB. Not TOO shabby).

Now, I have no case for it any more, but I'll find SOMETHING to put it into.
Maybe a minitower
case from an old P.C. I have around here. ;^)

Can't tell you all how pleased I am to have it back again........

Jeff
