Dear learned people, I installed 9.02 from an iBook install CD on to my J700. It works fine but when I install the 9.1 upgrade patch and reboot, the start screen shows up but the progress bar stops at the beginning and just hangs. I've done the cuda and pram procedures. Extensions off doesn't allow it to boot either.
I bought the Sonnet software that allows OSX to be installed for use with the Crescendo G4 processor but as you know, 9.1 is required first. I wonder if there isn't a component missing?
