Sounds like the "sync on green" pref is active. When booted into OS 9, open
the TwinTurbo control panel and check to see if the "sync on green" setting
is active. If you have problems booting into OS 9, try holding the "option"
key down when restarting in X. It's a bit slow, but you should get an icon
view of all bootable volumes on the screen.
Also, and not to be a party pooper, but running a TwinTurbo under OS X is a
bit like putting a Briggs & Straten engine in a '69 Chevelle SS. It'll move,
but barely. Sorry, my analogies are a bit goofy sometimes, and they almost
always give away my age group.
Anyway, lets strike up a good ol' video card replacement discussion on the
list if you want. It's about time, and there's some good options out there.

The UMAX clones are sweethearts for sure, thus this consistently active
list. I have an S900 running OS X and used solely as a jukebox. Two other
S900's I built-up, and sold to friends who use them as their main machines.
Just the fact that they remain viable almost 8 years after their inception,
is testament to their design and value.

ASP isn't always completely accurate, particularly with older machines,
upgrade cards, and add-on's. Try running Gauge Pro to see what it says. It's
an OS 9 app, and is available on the OWC site, here...
