Hey Paul... I wonder how important the placement of that PCI card is? I had
to move my Orange Micro OrangeLink (USB 2.0/Firewire) PCI card from a lower
slot to an upper slot because of some sort of hang up on boot-up that kept
the desktop from loading unless I moved the mouse around... really strange.
Also, my ATA hard drive wasn't "showing up" on my desktop where I had left
it. I dropped the card to slot number five, just below my SIIG control card,
and the boot-up normalized... ATA drive showed up on my desktop again too.
Wish I understood what these PCI conflicts were all about... I'm just glad
that I took the time to play hide and seek with them... otherwise I never
would've believed it!
