I wish more places were willing to use the postal service. Shipping
to Canada is very affordable by mail, and the stuff I send seems to
arrive within seven days.

Digi-Key recently (last couple of years) added USPS shipping.
Contrast these two. In the past the most economical choice for
shipping with Digi-Key was UPS Ground which cost a minimum of $6 and
more often closer to $8 and always takes at least seven days. Now,
with USPS (postal service), shipping by Priority Mail starts at
$3.85, sometimes goes as high as $5 (electronic components don't
weigh a lot) and always arrives within three days.

I will say that OWC's shipper did get an order to me once, I think,
the day after I placed the order and I paid for their normal
shipping. So that was impressive. But with some other seller,
I've been waiting on an Airborne ground shipment to work its way to
me. It left over a week ago and I'm not sure it has gotten out of
California yet. And they charged $10 for shipping on an item the
post office would have moved for $6.

If it's a NuBus card, make sure it isn't a good card. No-one makes
NuBus cards any more and those of use on the Vintage, Quad and 1st
PowerMacs lists might appreciate a crack at it, if it's a decent card
amongst NuBus cards.

Basically, any of the 7" long NuBus video cards are worth a second
look, especially if it was made by Radius. If you have a Thunder IV
GX or Thunder 24/GT it could go for upwards of $80. The longer (12"
Generally) ones tend to be old and slow and not of much interest, but
the exception would be the Video Vision Studio. This one has an
extra connector on the back plane and is two (maybe three) cards
sandwiched together.

Feel free to dispose of old PC cards. :-)
