Hello there everybody... I hope someone out there can help me. I am having difficutly booting from my Supermac disk. When I try to boot from it does not work. I hold down the C key and it still boots from the hd. ALso I have notice that when in the finder my cd icon no longer appears, I realize that it means that the drive is not mounting. When I check "scsiprobe" it shows me the 2 cds and the zip drive that I in my system properly but none of the devices will mount. The cd does boot in my powerbook system so I know the cd is good. I am hoping to perform a clean install the HD that I have.
I am at my wits end with this. I have tried a boot-able zip, 3 different cds, and nothing. It will boot from a disk tools floppy and the hd itself. I have noticed that when I put in a bootable cd and hold down the C key during startup that the drive becomes lock as if it were mounted but I can not see the icon. I hope someone can give me some ideas... Mike -- SuperMacs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
