After upgrading my c500 with a larger HD and a Sonnet L2 card I moved from 8.1 to 8.6 (with a borrowed CD) and I have found OS 8.6 to be the most stable OS I've ever used, starting with 7.5 on this machine and 7.0 on my earlier machines.
Trouble is, I would like to have my own CD of 8.6 but am having problems locating one to buy. No luck at the auction sites ,and apparently Apple doesn't sell them any longer.
