That is actually normal if you are booting into verbose mode. The 
stopping there isn't normal, it should usually pause for a few moments 
and then start loading extensions and mounting the drives. Are you 
booting from the HD or the Jaguar CDROM? I think you told us, but I 
missed it somewhere.
