But you did use XPostFacto, didn't you? If not: Without XPostFacto or Sonnet's OS X installer, there's no way to successfully install Jaguar on our oldworld Macs. http://www.eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/ Also, make sure to use a compatible grfx catd (the TwwinTurbo works, but w/o acceleration) and install Jag on the first (< 8GB) partition of the drive.
