Yes DVD play back is supported with an ATI Rage pro 128 or newer Video card. You do need a patch in order to install the Apple DVD player on older machines like ours. Also I'd like to add that the ATI DVD decoder card and the Wired4DVD cards do not work in OSX. So most people will likely be better off buying an ATI 128 or newer video card rather then the decoder cards. But the Apple DVD player in Jaguar works just fine with an ATI 128 or newer video card.
